The Prayer of Jesus
The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray.
He said, when you pray, pray like this:
O Holy One, who calls me beloved, you are in the air we breathe.
Your name, and all that you have made, is beautiful.
Bring forth your jubilee!
Give life to your dreams in heaven and on earth.
Nourish and sustain our bodies.
Release our debts as we release the debts of others.
Do not let us turn from you.
In hardship and in peril, stay with us.
Amen.
